Website Usability and Accessibility Review
We conducted a detailed review of three websites to evaluate their usability, accessibility, and overall user experience. The reviews were structured to cover key areas of user interaction and performance, with recommendations provided where improvements were identified.
The key areas reviewed included:
- Home Page – Clarity of navigation and visual hierarchy.
- Task Orientation – How easily users could complete key tasks.
- Information Architecture – Logical structure and content discoverability.
- Forms and Data Entry – Ease of use and error tolerance.
- Trust and Credibility – Building user confidence through design and content.
- Writing and Content Quality – Clear and consistent language.
- Page Layout and Visual Design – Aesthetics and functional balance.
- Search Functionality – Effectiveness and relevance of search results.
- Help, Feedback, and Error Tolerance – Support for user errors and feedback mechanisms.
The project was coordinated with a senior member of the company, and feedback was gathered from stakeholders to refine the review process. Multiple browsers and accessibility testing tools were used to identify rendering issues and compliance gaps.
The result was a set of actionable recommendations that guided improvements in user experience and accessibility across all three websites.
